Elina Nikolitsa was born in Greece. She graduated from the Department of Music Studies of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. She pursued postgraduate studies in Voice Acoustics at the University Paris VIII in France. She received a scholarship from the Hellenic Embassy in Paris, the French and the Belgian Ministry of Education. As a PhD candidate of the University of Gent in Belgium, and as a graduate of the National Conservatory of Paris (CNSMDP), in Musical Acoustics of Instruments, she taught at the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics of the Technical University of Crete from 2003 to 2007. She participated as a collaborator in the ΕPΕAΚ Research Programme on Acoustic Analysis, Perception and Synthesis of the Soprano Singing Voice, financed by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and the European Social Fund. In 2006, at the Panhellenic Acoustics Conference, she won an award for best presentation by a new scientist, for her research on the movement of the vocal cords A Study on the Voice Quality of the Soprano Singing Voice with the Use of Electroglottography (EGG).
Elina has been trained in lyrical singing in Paris (Conservatoire Municipal de Paris, CNR d’Evreux, CNR de Rueil-Malmaison), in vocal improvisation and musical theatre (CNSMDP). She has coordinated vocal groups in French institutes and provided vocal training to groups of musician and actors. She has appeared as soloist and chorister in ensembles in France and Greece. In 2011, she participated in the singing teachers' committee on the show "Greek Idol:, created in the rearch for talent. She specialises in improvisation. In recent years, she has worked with musicians in concerts entitled Therapeutic Concerts. She created her first personal CD Light on Earth in 2011, aiming at coordinating and activating the listener.
In 2006, she created a method called Singing Therapy®, which she has presented in speeches and seminars all over Greece and abroad. She established Nahna Voice Center, a sound-therapy centre, in Athens, Greece in 2009. She is a sound-therapy graduate of the German Institute Klang-Massage-Therapie of Peter Hess. In 2010, she completed her training as a Spiritual Teacher in Florida, USA, specialising in Energy Therapies and Energetic Feng Shui, which she has incorporated in her therapeutic techniques with sound. She completed her training in Atlantean Energy Techniques in Amritabha with Insha Holz in 2012 and was trained in Systemic Constellation at an individual level in 2013. Since 2010, she has implemented the programme ‘Spiritual Voice Healing Training’ for those who wish to be trained in the use of voice in therapy. She is a member of the International Healer Network. Since 2013, she has expanded her training services outside Greece, organising workshops on "Spiritual Voice Healing for Voice Healers of Soul".
